Danone and The Abraaj Group have invested $25 million into Ghanaian dairy products portfolio company Fan Milk. The investment will be used to open new production lines at an existing factory, creating around 200 jobs, according to the investors. Danone, together with The Abraaj Group, a leading investor in growth markets, has added three new production lines to its factory in Accra, Ghana. The total investment of USD $25 million will help Fan Milk Ltd, its local subsidiary, to sustain the growing demand for dairy products in the regional West African market.
